Martin Mann
I photograph a variety of subjects purely as a hobby and I've only recently started shooting solely in RAW. I've started getting batches of photographs which show up bands of dots, either along the bottom half or the top half on the photos. I originally put these faulty images as being a fault in the camera, which I've had for a few years, however I then realised that these bands of dots aren't on the photos themselves and they look fine in the camera viewer, so it would seem that this fault is caused by something in Affinity. I find Affinity a steep learning curve, but I don't think it's user error because these dots are seen before doing any editing whatsoever. I've attached a word document showing two examples. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Martin Mann fault.odt

Martin Mann
Here's another RAW photo I took with the same camera today. I've attached screen grabs of the photo in both Affinity and Adobe Lightroom 5.4.
carl123
What happens if you change the RAW output format in the Develop Assistant to RGB (16 bit)? If no change, uploading a RAW file will confirm if the problem is reproducible or just something on your PC Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
