Jaffa
Much as I love Affinity Photo, I find it frustrating after having just saved to an Affinity File, then exported, to be asked whether I want to save my changes. If I export my changes, which almost invariably mean less pixels, then I do not want to lose resolution in the Affinity File. Over many saves, I find things not standard, sometimes I am told there have been changes and sometimes not. There seems no consistency. One of my two pet hates (but I still love you Affinity!) walt.farrell
You would not lose anything in the .afphoto file if all you did to "lose" pixels during export was to change export settings. So Saving will be safe. If you look at the History panel before and after your Export, you will see that the action of exporting added a History entry. Therefore, Photo considers your file to have changed. As Walt.farrell said you are only changing the export settings, these can be set up once then reused without an entry being made in the history pane. The only thing that is changing is the export settings. Please Help. Jessa A screenshot would help, but it souns like you might have pressed Tab, which is the default shortcut for the menu action View > Toggle UI. If so, just press Tab again, or use that menu action.
