180 Smoke and Cloud Brushes

Recommended Posts

I purchased the 180 Smoke and Cloud Brushes. It included two folders, each containing PNG Clouds & Smoke image files.  The PNG files are huge, black and I cannot figure out how to recolor or do a simple resize. To resize is a pain, copy and paste on pixel layer and crop, unless someone has better method. It is a total bear to try to recolor a black png file.  I must be missing something taught in first grade.  Any assistance appreciated.  I am positive others have the same package.  Thank you.

There should be a zip file which opens the brushes themselves.    The PNG image files are just so you can see what the clouds and smoke will look like.    You should find a file with .afbrushes which you import into your app(s).   I have used them and they are quite spectacular!  Coloring is achieved by first selecting one of the cloud or smoke brushes from the Brushes Panel with the Paint Brush Tool, then open the Color Panel and select something.   Hope this helps.

Oh!  Thank you.  I have no problems importing and using the brushes.  No instructions contained within the png files.  I thought png files had a purpose, other than documentation of what they looked liked.
