And if you no set free the group you can edit the number of steps always. Say, you have 2 lines. You can put this way 8 line more between them. Or if you have a star and a circle you can bend them. There's some posts/requests for it scattered around the forum, like this one, but i think there isn't a specific thread in the Feature Requests section.
