Glicky
Will this kinds of options be available for "text on a path" like it's in AI/CDR?
fde101
Currently only "A" is possible while keeping it as editable text on a path; "D" can be achieved manually by starting with "A" and converting to curves, then rotating the individual letters using the move tool, so I wouldn't expect it would take a great deal for the Serif team to add that option to the existing feature (to do it automatically while keeping it editable) as it really only amounts to NOT rotating the characters to match the slope of the path. The other options all require warping the shapes of the individual letters, and we don't even have the option to do that manually yet (without rasterizing them first), so there may be a bit more that needs to take place under the hood before those could be offered, but I do agree these would be nice options to have. By the way, if you need another option for creating those kinds of shapes, you might want to look up a program called "Art Text"(Belight software) - it is not free, but it is inexpensive, and is optimized for doing these kinds of text manipulations.
