M1000 Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Imported this Affinity Photo file into Affinity Publisher resulting in this PDF Export same with other vector-based formats like .eps. Export works fine with .tif for example. BTW it has nothing to do with the text layer, same happens with images. ivbera Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 What are your export settings for pdf? Do you have rasterise: unsupported properties turned on in advanced export settings? M1000 Posted June 23, 2019 Author Posted June 23, 2019 It doesn't matter whether rasterise: unsupported properties is on or off. And as I wrote, it happens with other vector-based formats like .eps. too. Publisher should simply flatten the image during export but ignores the Live-Filter Layer in the linked Photo file. You can try yourself, I attached the files. test.zip Quote Windows 10 Home 64 / AMD Ryzen 1700 @ 3.6 GHz / Asus Prime B350-Plus / 32 GB RAM / GeForce RTX 3060 12GB with latest studio drivers Affinity Suite V2 latest official versions
ivbera Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Yes, you are right. Although the Curves adjustment seems to work; the Gaussian Blur Live-Filter is just ignored, when exporting PDF. I tried a Twirl-Live-Filter this is also ignored, when exported in PDF even flattened. This also applies for Affinity Photo. Madpeaz Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 (edited) I too have an issue with 'Live Filters'. Some of filters(Voronoi, blurs etc) are being completely ingnored as mentioned above, when printing/exporting pdf on all three - AFPhoto, AFPublisher & AFDesigner. Rondem Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Yes a lot of wired things happen when exporting to PDF. Live filters don't get exported and bleeds don't get exported or are offset to a different position.
