Export Persona…

It might help if you'd explain the usage scenario where a digital publishing application would need the Export Persona. Explaining the benefits to your workflow makes a stronger business case for devoting the development resources to supply it, and helps in prioritizing those resources.

Edit: You might also include such factors as how often you would need to use it, and why simply using Edit in Designer wouldn't work for those cases.

Simple: for repurposing sections/areas of designs that originated for print purposes. Many times clients want to use parts of brochures on their websites...

As far as why not use Edit in Designer... command? For the same reason one uses the Designer persona, namely convenience.

Agreed. As someone who only sits in Publisher when doing Designer work (I mean seriously, there is literally no point in using Designer if you own Publisher and Photo as well), the only thing missing is the Export Persona. While I would appreciate having access to the other missing Photo Personas as well, the Export Persona is the most important one for me.
