Toolbar issue in Designer 1.7 for Mac — BIG BUG.

1. No tools can be dragged to the toolbar

2. Touching any of the existing items removes them forever

3. Choosing "Hide Toolbar" removes THE COMPLETE BAR – CAN NOT BE REVERTED.

4. Can only be fixed by removing all preferences and re-installing. Thanks for the extra work.

DON'T CLICK ON "CUSTOMIZE TOOOLBAR" !!

I haven't had any of these problems, and I have customized mine since upgrading.

@rpb: Please, don’t cry wolf and make alarm in this manner!

Just like @fde101 I experienced none of these issues on my Mac (macOS 10.14.5.) and AffDesigner.

If you got these issues, instead of grumbling around here, it would be much more helpful to (1) describe exactly what happened, (2) name us the macOS version, your machines specs and (3)ask, if this happened to somebody else.

I assume, that thousand and thousand of users customised their toolbar and we had no bug report here about such an issue. So I strongly doubt, that we are dealing with a Designer issue.

Hi rpb,

Are you able to provide a screen recording showing the issues you've encountered at all please? I'm unable to replicate any of the issues you've mentioned.
