Hello,

I bought Affinity Photo today because I wanted to switch over from Photoshop. I read that Aff Photo will have the same feature like photoshops "Photomerge"
I am an artist and I do need photomerge quite often to stitch together my artworks.
However, I tried to use "panorama" function but it always says there is no panorama once I hit the merge button (well.. at least I hope it is "merge" using the german localisation of it)

So.. what I am doing wrong to get a matrix like error code? ;_)  Or does Affinity Photo dont have this function at all?

Hi Artsy,

Welcome to the forums :)

You should be able to use Panorama for this, do you images have enough overlap between them?

Thanks

Hello Callum,

oh I dont know :35_thinking:

usually I scan the larger illustrations, so that I have 2 files and then I use photomerge on ps -than the magic happens. So I do not change the scans itself.
is there a tutorial somewhere on this issue so I might can figure out what to do?

So far I love Affinity Photo and already desinstalled my PS ;_) But this is really a feature that made my life alot easier.

How much overlap is there with the two scans? Photo needs a fair amount. You could try three scans instead of two to increase the information for  Photo to use

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
