peter
Will you show off the finished product when it gets released? Walkies! retrograde
For sure Peter, the website address is http://hawaiidoggiedaycare.com If you poke around the site a bit you'll eventually find each of the 3 dogs. I also did the Kama'aina K9 Adventures logo and their facility park map although those were done in illustrator because, for now, the client needs these in illustrator. ;) Quote http://www.kevincreative.com https://www.behance.net/kevincreative https://dribbble.com/kevincreative https://www.instagram.com/kevincreative/
peter
Found 'em. Must be really good seeing your art on someone else's product. Especially a fun doggy camp like this. Roll on APu! We DO need more dogs in this forum. langis
I was going to ask how you got the gradients to follow the lines of the dogs' limbs, but you've answered the question already. Inner glow! Of course.
retrograde
Yes actually, but I believe I was incorrect earlier. It's inner "shadow" that I use more than inner "glow". Inner shadow has the "offset slider" and reposition feature that allows you to pick where exactly that shading gets applied. You can do a lot with that! If I do encounter a shape that's just too complicated to work this way, I'll go into pixel persona, grab a nice big soft brush and paint the shading in. Designer is nice and flexible that way.
