Chocolatier Posted June 21, 2019 Share Posted June 21, 2019 I have the paid for Affinity Publisher/Photo/Designer. I have printed several pages with half designs on without issue. Then copied and pasted the design to the bottom half of an A4 page (so now two of the same design on the page within the print area) and printed. I had a whole page of dark grey / black with some of the PNG's printed but not in position. Reset a new page and selected all the old pages items copied and pasted into the new A4 page and printed with perfect results - saved this version. Closed the programme. On opening up programme opened up the saved work and printed 5 copies - all printed whole grey / black pages again. Tried everything I can think of without resolving the issue. Staff Sean P Posted June 24, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 24, 2019 Hi Chocolatier, Thanks for letting us know - strangely I can reproduce this when using the Adobe PDF printer, but not a physical printer. I'll get this passed on to development. In the meantime can you tick the 'Rasterise Entire Page' option in the Rasterise section of the printer dialog, this should allow you to print your page without the artefacts you are currently getting. Sorry this issue has taken so long to get resolved properly. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below. The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Photo 1.8.0.532 for Windows Affinity Designer 1.8.0.532 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.535 for Windows These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update/patch to all customers.
