[Fixed] Studio can't turn closed left-side panels back on?

Recommended Posts

After moving the Swatches, Brushes, History panels to the left side of the screen, I later decided to temporarily turn them off to enlarge the working area.  As long as you leave one panel on the left side open, you can use Studio to turn the others back on but if you turn them all off, the only way to get them back is to restart the app.  Studio will let you click them and show them as turned on but they do not reappear anywhere.  I first ran into this in Photo but it is also true in Designer.

Hi LilleG,

I'm not not able to replicate this, can you give me some more info?

Are you using Separated mode? Which version of Affinity Designer are you using the MAS or the Beta, and what OS?

Thanks

I'm not in Separated mode.  What I did was drag Swatches, Brushes, History to the left-side of the screen and dock them there beside Tools.  I turned all 3 off in Studio.  As long as one was still docked the others could be turned back on in Studio but with all three off, they were just gone.

Affinity Photo…25338

Affinity Designer Beta…25410

OS…10.8.5 Mountain Lion

Ok. Thank you. Seems to be another bug specific to Mountain Lion. I'm not able to test this (no Mountain Lion machine available) but i will notify Andrew it.

Thanks, Miguel.  Mountain Lion seems to be having more than its share of problems with Affinity apps.  Makes me wish I liked Yosemite enough to use it.
