I'd like to be able to set a certain length when drawing a line. Specially when working in isometric grid mode, being able to know and set the line length would be really handy (instead of having to count grid squares, which is what I have to do right now).

Hmm... fde101 don't think you are correct about this.

Usually you can use the width value in the Transform panel to set the length of a horizontal line (or height for vertical). But there is no way to easily set the length of a diagonal line.

So in isometric mode this doesn't really work either since 2 planes are generally on the diagonal.
