calligraffiti
Having the same issue as this despite trying all the remedies in that thread. Perhaps there should be a way to transfer our licenses from the App store directly to the Affinity store? I never did like the App store. It's seemingly getting worse and worse. Just like everything else Mac related I guess.
Staff Callum Posted June 22, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 22, 2019 Hi calligraffiti, Welcome to the forums Please could you make sure Designer and Photo have been upgraded to version 1.7.1 and that you have run them both at least once before trying studio link in Publisher? sergio.1974
macOS Sierra 10.12.6, Designer and Photo from MAS... Publisher from your Store. No link between apps. btw: why should I need different account for forum and store? account from your store is not accepted on the forum... it's very strange thing ) Edited June 22, 2019 by sergio.1974

Doing so could involve compromising user Apple ID's or the Windows equivalent. But it doesn't matter for StudioLink support which store an app comes from. Different store & forum accounts are required because not everyone wanting to take part in the forums wants to buy anything from the Affinity Store or create an account there.
