Hello,

I would like to continue editing my old *.ppp files, which I created with Serif Page Plus 9. At the same time, I would like to keep the magnetic lead lines, groups of elements etc. in the Affinity Publisher as well. How can I do that? Thanks for a hint.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @sigmahr. :)

I hope you meant PagePlus X9, not PagePlus 9 without the ‘X’ (which is ten versions older)! That aside, the file formats are completely incompatible, so if you want to work on your PP files in APub — instead of simply continuing to work on them in PP — you’ll need to publish as PDF and then open the PDF file.

I’m not sure what you mean by “magnetic lead lines”, but since the PDF format doesn’t know about groups I’m afraid you’ll have quite a bit of reconstruction work to do.

Of course, PagePlus X9 :)
Thanks for the answer, I was afraid of that.
Then I'll have to keep my old PagePlus X9 for a long time and start working on new projects with the Affinity Designer. Too bad.
