Staff Gabe Posted June 20, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 20, 2019 Hi @theoderic, Welcome to the forums. Have you got the 2 fonts installed and the Glyphs Panel opened? I can see them without any issues Thanks, Gabe.
theoderic
Hi Gabe The fonts were installed and FontBook.app told me: "No problem". After installation of an other version of Zapf Dingbats and converting SeanSymbols to .otf everything is ok. Thanks for your help. theoderic
Staff Gabe Posted June 20, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 20, 2019 Odd. Might have been just a broken font. Thanks for letting us know.
ABP
It does show it but under Zapf. If you go to your font manager and click on info for that you will see it is ITC.
thomaso
@ Gabe, here are two fonts that do not show up in the Glyph Browser: Univers and Frutiger, both Postscript, Adobe, ca. 1990. They also make issues when exported as PDF/X-4: most of their weights get automatically curved during export (why & how?); one file at least (Univers 55) results in an error message on export – unless I converted it to curves before export. – Since both are quite old Postscript I wonder whether there is a font limitation in AfPublisher, like not supporting specific types? font issues glyph browser and export.zip Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Staff Gabe Posted June 24, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 24, 2019 Thanks. I've logged it with our developers.
RM f/g
Same problem here. All my fonts that show no glyphs in the glyph browser appear to be PostScript Type1.
