Perfect!

This is what I want. 3 in 1 but it could be done without Designer and Photo as separate apps.

This is now a real tool for designers.

I assume you know you must have Designer & Photo installed to use Publisher's other two personas, right?

Also, as it stands now, there are things that each of those two separate apps can do that can't be done from Publisher's other personas. For example, Publisher does not have a dedicated Export Persona, so you are limited to what File > Export offers. Pub's Photo Persona does not (apparently) support third party PS plug-in filters at all, & from what I can does not support Batch Jobs, Panoramas, Focus Merge, & a few other items that are on Affinity Photo's File menu.

Affinity Photo 1.7.1, Affinity Designer 1.7.1, Affinity Publisher 1.7.1; macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 iMac (27-inch, Late 2012); 2.9GHz i5 CPU; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M; 8GB RAM
Affinity Photo 1.7.1.143 & Affinity Designer 1.7.1.1 for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iOS 12.3.1
