Open Recent in AD still not working properly in 1.2.1

Recommended Posts

The latest update to AD says it has fixed save problems, but I am still getting the old problem of Open Recent items disappearing. Here is what happens on my iMac with Yosemite:

Open a file that is not on the Open recent list. Alter it. Save it. Close it (but don't close AD). Go to File, Open Recent and the file is there.

Now close AD and open it again immediately and go to Open Recent - the file is still there.

Now close AD and go and do something else for ten minutes and come back and go to Open Recent - file NOT there!

I have done this three times today, thinking I must have made some mistake, but now I have proved this is what is happening. Weird or what?

I've been unable to replicate this issue. If you select Clear Menu and try again, do you get the same issue? Are you saving locally? Perhaps resetting the app could fix this issue for you - this can be done by holding down the CTRL key when launching the app.

I have tried your suggestions. I am still having the same problem.

There are two old items in Open Recent. I clicked Clear Menu and closed AD. When i opened it again the two items are still there.

I then did a Clear Menu again, but this time when opening AD held down Control and selected all the tick boxes. The two old items are still there in Open Recent.

I opened a file (not one of the two shown in Open Recent) , altered it, saved it. I created a new design, saved it. I closed AD and opened it up again. Those two files are not in Open recent. I opened Ad again with control held down. Still not there.

Could it be something to do with having the original trial and the beta versions still installed?
