Transferring licences from Mac Store to Affinity direct.

I purchased AD and AP from the Mac store some time ago. Is it possible to transfer my licences to Affinity? As I have pre-ordered Publisher, I am concerned that the Designer and Photo personas may not work in the Publisher release on 19 June, if they are from the Mac store.

No, as Serif have said many times, you cannot transfer licenses between the stores. Basically, Apple does not share any customer data with Serif, which prevents that kind of transfer.

However, we're told that Publisher purchased from Serif will work just fine with Photo and Designer purchased from Apple, so you should not have a problem. You will just need to be sure that your Photo and Designer have updated to the 1.7.1 version.

Sorry Walt, but Studiolink doesn't work. A screen pops up telling you you need to purchase  - from Affinity! I installed Publisher yesterday and it's a no go linking to the other apps.

Hi Paul, have you updated Photo & Designer to the latest 1.7.1 versions? you need to make sure they are in your applications folder and not in any sub folders. You then need to open both Photo & Designer, then open Publisher for the links to work. I have both Designer & Photo from the MAS and Publisher from the Serif Affinity store, they all work fine together.
