For example I copied three coloured boxes from a saved document and pasted into new document , as usual. New boxes are in shades of grey, however hex number is right? See attached. It looks as though the PNG file you've opened that you are pasting into is actually a greyscale format PNG. This means that anything added to it will be reflected in Greyscale - this is intended behaviour. If you go to File > Document Setup > Colour it will say either Grey/8 or Grey/16. If you change this to RGB/8 and click OK you should find the pasted objects are now in colour. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
