updated to 1.7.1.404 can't add macro to library

I have updated to 1.7.1.404 I had no macros in my library from previous 1.7.0, now when I make a macro I can't save to a library.

If you go to VIew > Studio > Library
Do you mean the library panel is empty, no categories defined ?

Just created a quick macro and exported to the Library panel without any issues using Photo 1.7.1.404. If you still having issues, can you confirm your workflow.

Hi Lee D, I've just created a macro and tried to save to library, it still won't let me save too library, screen print attached, does it look like i'm doing anything wrong?

If I understand correctly, you have no category in the Bililothek.
Create a new category in the library, then can  you  save your macro.

won't let me create a new category either

Try the following.
Hold down the CTRL-Key and open Affinity Photo.
Select all Option and then delete all Option.
Remember that all user settings, such as brushes, macros, etc., get lost.
