jrkay
When I try to use these Paste Commands in Windows 7 but they are both faded out on the drop down menu and also when I try to use Alt + Shift + V I get taken to the Zoom pull down menu. Staff Jon P Posted June 17, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 17, 2019 Hi jrkay, These seem to work for me, they will be disabled if you don't have any fx/style on your clipboard. If you apply some fx to a shape and copy it they should become enabled. Thanks for pointing out the shortcut however, it seems ALT+Z is taking priority which is for the zoom menu, I've logged this Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
jrkay
Hi Jon I applied FX to a shape and tried to copy it to another shape using Alt + Shift + V and that didn't work at all either. John
Staff Jon P Posted June 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 18, 2019 Not having any issues with that here still unfortunately, any chance you can create a video demonstrating the issue? Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
jrkay
I'm rubbish at video, the first part shows me choosing the wrong tool first of all but hopefully the second part shows it not happening. After I had done the vid and come out of it, there was a remark came up that the command was not implemented. John 20190618-111542.avi

Staff Jon P Posted June 18, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 18, 2019 Hi jrkay, So the star shape in your file has no filter effects applied, that is why you can't paste onto the rectangle above it with Paste FX (using the shortcut or otherwise) You can copy the fill/stroke with "Paste Style", which is CTRL+SHIFT+V If you add some filter effects to the object you should see Paste FX working also Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
jrkay
I'm sorry it still doesn't work like that for me, pasting style of the cog CTRL + Shift + V on my document to the black square only produces a duplicate copy of the cog. However I gave a style to the cog and copied that style to the square with Alt + Shift + V and it did work as you said.
