Can I store a dash pattern to reuse it later?

For the moment I enter the pattern again and again and if I want to move back to a non-dashed line I have to change settings manually every  time

You can ‘Add Style from Selection’ in the Styles section of the Layer FX Studio. When applied to another stroke it will also apply the stored colour and line width, which may not be what you want, but I don’t think there’s any way to avoid that.
