Affinity designer bullet indenting

Hi all,

• Is there a way to control bullet list indenting, in order to have the second line
  with the same indent as the first,
  like in this example?

Works for me in a text frame in AD Mac, a Shift-Return indents the second line to the same level.

You are best served with a Paragraph Style for this, even if it is temporary. Set the Left indent to what ever and then just set the First Line indent to 0 (zero) and you may need to use the Shift + Return which v_kyr mentioned if you use Artistic Text as opposed to the Frame Text in my example.

Thanks a lot, v_kyr and Bruce. This is what I was looking for. It would be great if one day we could have more control over the space between the bullet and the text.

You have to add a tab stop and apply it. I have the line indents set to 0 and 36 pts for first and left.

Adding a Shift-Return or extra tabs are quick and easy workarounds, although it may need to be adjusted should any text be added or removed in that particular bullet point.

Indenting the remaining lines via a paragraph style is probably the best way to accomplish the task at present in my opinion, although the Bulleted List / Numbered List feature should be smart enough to look after this automatically as in InDesign. With that said, I'm still loving Publisher so far.

I only added the tab to the style. Not the text. The text is just the nonsense from filler text.
