I have imported a vector brush ribbons into photo, the little box came up to say it had imported okay, however I cannot find it , help please, sorry just found out it has to be in Designer

Affinity Photo only has raster brushes available, so even though it reports as being imported it won't make them available to select.

It doesn’t just report vector brushes as being imported, it actually imports them! This seems a bit pointless — and a waste of storage space — given that we can’t use them.

On a related subject, it would be great if there was some way to tell if *.afbrushes files were vector or raster ones without having to open them in Designer. I once asked if there was some identifying characters in a file header or some such we could check by opening these files in a text editor & searching for that, but nothing ever came of it. :(
