Pencil tool whereabouts

Recommended Posts

If there is one, they've hidden it well! :/

To be honest, IMHO, the worst thing about the Affinity products is the "Help" (or, rather, the lack of it).

Who ever does it just seems to copy and paste from one app to the other, doesn't update it in line with new versions, and never checks that it is correct or working properly. :(

The big problem is that, unlike Serif's now defunct "Plus" range, there is no user manual included with the software, so you only have the "Help" to find out what and where things are and what they are supposed to do. As a lot of the, so-called, "Help" is missing or incorrect, you either have to poke around until you find things for yourself, look at tutorials (and hope they are up to date!) or ask questions here. ;)

(I'm sure it's a big job to keep all the "Help" files up-to-date and correct, but, as it is,  they simple can't be relied on.)

There is no pencil tool in the Publisher. They withdrew this tool a few versions ago, it was initially present
