xzendor7
For some reason AP will not export to JPG or PNG. I tried to to export to each file format and AP just uses 100% of my 4 core AMD CPU and up to 30% of the onboard memory and saves nothing to the hard drive. AP was running the export portion of the software for 3 hours with no result. Dan C
Hi xzendor7, Welcome to the forums I'm very sorry to hear this. Could you please confirm, what OS version are you using?
xzendor7
Thanks Dan. I'm using the current release of Windows 10 64bit and the latest AMD drivers for the Radeon RX570 - Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.6.1 I worked around the problem by applying the flatten function and then exporting the image to PNG and JPG; but for some strange reason I can not export directly. So other information: One of the images I working on is a small one which contains 129 layers, has dimensions of 6000px by 9000px and file size of 1.13GB I don't know if this is important, because with version 1.6.5, I had files with 700+ layers at similar or larger dimension (up to 18000px tall) with file sizes around 2.5GB without issue. The export also fails with PSD. It starts off well, then at about the 50% mark just stalls out. Most of the image editing work I'm doing on AP currently uses fractals (average files size about 5MB).
