Johnsonandfriends
Is there any plan in the future to have a remove line between nodes ( but have the nodes till connected ) like in Moho it would be a great tool to have for any one making assets for cut out animation or just filling shapes and not having to have them duplicated to hide line art. PixelPest
Isn´t this already possible?
Johnsonandfriends
Not exactly you have broken your shape open what I'm talking about is the removal of just the visual stroke so that the internal fill can be left unaffected.
PixelPest
Not possible in the SVG-world afaik without having two objects; 1 for fill and 1 for the contour.
Johnsonandfriends
Moho pro 12 has this feature slowing the fill curve to still be edited while having no Stoke along the line between nodes.
PixelPest
My Moho12Pro test version expired and mutates to Moho debut. When I open an outline it instantly kills the fill. Are you 100% sure Moho doesn´t split the object in 2 when erasing partially contours of an object? This is no SVG standard behaviour. v_kyr
In Affinity that's probably only via an accordingly setup/customized dashed line styles, or maybe some separate stroke path splitting and afterwards geometric join up possible. Johnsonandfriends
Your not opening an out line. There is a remove edge tool which leaves the outline but removes the visible stroke.
PixelPest
This is literally a vector erase tool like ClipStudio has also - as I said I´m pretty sure Moho handles different objects then internally to keep the curvature: In AD it´s more like this: Can Moho do this? Johnsonandfriends
My bad I attached the wrong tool vide it this one the home edge tool essentially does the same as what you have attached
