Cannot open last saved document

Recommended Posts

hi. on my iPad Pro I cannot load my last document. Unluckily I didn’t save a copy so I’m in real trouble now. The app gives me an error message “cannot load document”. If I try to save the doc from its thumbnail, Designer crashes down.

What can I do?

Regards

Hi Giuilianzo,

Have you tried restarting the iPad and reopening the application? Failing that can you drag the file that is failing to open from the Welcome Screen into the Files App > On My iPad > Designer folder? If you can could you attach that file please?

Unfortunately, if that doesn't work I don't think anything else can be done. :(

I have sometimes had success in these situations using the Home screen Hamburger menu, Duplicate and then been able to open the copy. Good luck.
