I'm using the latest release.

Reproducing it is hard,  for several days I've tried to put my finger on what's doing it,  the hang seems random,  I'll continue to keep an eye on it.

It happens on any project/document,  new or old,  small or large.

I'm running Windows 10 home x64.

Sometimes when I exit the AP  the process hangs with 0 megs, gigs or bytes of ram being used.  Watching my ram meter then doesn't let me know it's still alive.  The only way that I know is by:  check Device Manager and looking for the process,  or by attempting to load a new instance,  in which case nothing happens because it's already running.  After closing the process and loading again,  it's fine.

no external hardware being used,  or any application that I'm aware of.

This never happened pre-1.7.  but now it happens quite often,  every day,  but not every instance.  I've waited on reporting this because I know if I was able to sus it out then I could offer a better report.  Unfortunately I cannot.  I searched these forums to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue,  if they are then my apologies,  I missed it.

Same issue for me! Sometimes closing AP, I'm not able to restart the software. Watching running processes I find AP. I need to close the process to start a new AP session.

Are you using "Live Noise Reduction FIlters" in your projects ? If so , try using the Bilateral Blur Live filter instead.
