Laurin Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) Hello from Germany, I've a rather strange problem after updating my Windows PC to Windows Version 1903: All Affinity apps didn't start correct anymore (Photo, Designer, Publisher Beta - all Version 1.7). All apps seem to start after clicking the program icon, but the main app windows stay invisible on the screen. The starting graphic appears (screenshot 1) but after loading the program the main program window didn't. Only the news window is visible (schreenshot 2). I use no other monitor and and Affinity Photo is invisible in the list of opened desktop apps, too (screenshot 3). So the Affinity apps are unusable. How to fix this Problem? All other programs work correctly on my system - such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Best regards, laurin my system: Intel NUC Skull Canyon (NUC6i7KYK), Intel i7-6770H, Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580 with latest drivers/BIOS, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Monitor 21:9 (3440 x 1440 px) Edited June 14, 2019 by Laurin Quote
Mark Ingram Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Hi @Laurin, have you got any software installed that's on this list? Can you try adding the --no-hw-ui flag to the command line parameters and launching the application? Chris B 1 Quote
Laurin Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Many thanks for your response! It was Duet Display. After uninstalling this app, it works. The UI appears :-) Best regards, Laurin Patrick Connor, Chris B and Mark Ingram 2 1 Quote
