Tailor Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 (edited) Hello, I just installed my newly bought Affinity Photo Software and did some tests. A really nice editing software for a very fair price. Thank you! Unfortunately, i ran over a bug: Open Affinity Photo Load image from a ejectable mass storage device (external HDD) Cancel project Close Affinity Photo Eject mass storage device safely Expected result: Mass storage device should be ejected and ready to remove. Actual result: A process of Affinity Photo is still working on the mass storage device. Error occurs: "Problem ejecting USB Mass Storage Device" Hints: At first I thought, it could be an open file stream from the loaded file, so I tried to delete the image and it worked. The problem is 100% caused by Affinity Photo. Is there a process searching/indexing the disk or something similar? Cheers, Tailor Edited June 13, 2019 by Tailor Quote
Staff Chris B Posted July 10, 2019 Staff Posted July 10, 2019 Hey Tailor, welcome to the Affinity forums. I've tried this a number of times now and each time the device is safely removed—what am I missing? When you cancel the project, I assume you mean you close it and don't save changes?
