I am having trouble with the install of all the software. When I install the Photo, Design, and the pub beta programs it will not work. I am using windows 10 pro. Have a MSI GE62 6QD Apache Pro I7, 16 Gig Memory. When I do open any of the programs They just open to a dark screen with a line box. When I click  on the open box it states not responding. When open it fills the hole screen so I can not get a screen shot. Need some help to get programs back working. They all did work once.

Hi Richard and Welcome to the Forums,

If we can tackle one app at a time, as i suspect if we solve the issue with one, it will be the same fix for the others:

Can you try the following for Designer and let me know how it goes:

With Affinity closed
 
Hold down the Windows key and tap the letter R.  This will bring up the run box.  In here type:
%appdata%
 
Click okay
 
A Windows explorer window will open showing you some folders.  Open the folder called Affinity, followed by Designer  You should now see a folder called 1.0 . Please right click on this and rename it Old Settings.  
 
Now try starting up Affinity Designer and let me know the results. 
 
If it still loads and doesn't look right, no matter how much of the screen is filled, pressing the Print Screen key on your keyboard should force Windows to take a screenshot, which you can then paste into another app like MS Paint, save the image and upload it here :)

I have tried all that you have ask me to do. I have gone so far as to remove all programs with an uninstaller program. No matter what I do, the programs will not run. they start up and then just become unresponsive. Here is two screen shots of what is happening. Sorry for the delay was away.

Are you saying all programs are beta?

I think the beta programs have a 10 day limit

No, the Trial versions have a 10-day limit, but that's from the time they are first run after they are installed. After that they will start, but will not run unless you provide the product key.

The Beta versions don't have a specific time limit, but do require that you have purchased and installed the retail version of the program.

I do not think anyone is able to help me with this problem. This is not Beta software. Is there anyone who knows anything about these software. Does serif not have tech support to help with the programs that they developed. I am having problems with being able to use what I have purchased. Please have a Tech contact me.

You said in your OP that the apps all did work once. What has changed since then? Your Core i7 system with 16 GB of RAM should be more than able to cope unless you have a humongous amount of stuff going on in the background.

I am not sure what changed. it was just before the release of pub on the 19th of June. I did what Stokerg informed me to do. nothing happened with his info. I had gone away for a few weeks before I was able to get back to the problem I was having. When I did try what was suggested, someone else got back to me who it seems that I confused. So I went back to what Stokerg suggested and made sure the program was uninstalled. The file was deleted and all was cleaned. I then went back and reinstalled a clean install.Please see the screenshot. Next I went in and renamed the file. I still have the same problem. Stokerg can go and check my account to see I own all programs.
