ChrisP Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Hi all, I did not see these features on the Roadmap so I was wondering how people are handling this. I want to create some seamless patterns and also I wanted to create a graphic and have it placed along a path. For instance to create a rope - create one segment and have it repeat over the bezier curve I created. And, yes I know there is an brush image of a rope but I wanted to create something different. You can however use patterns you have created somewhere else using the Gradient tool, type: Bitmap. You have to create one seamless (vector) tile manually and then use Power Duplicate to repeat it along the background. Alternatively you can convert it to a bitmap going to Layer ▹ Rasterise..., export it and then use it with the Gradient Tool set to Type: Bitmap (drag the tool over the object to fill it with the bitmap pattern you just created).
