This happens to me in a MacOS 10.14.5 and latest version iPad Pro.

If i don't select the margins while creating a new document, i can't create them in the Guides Manager.

If i use margins while creating a new document, i can't modify it in the Guides Manager.

Sometimes i can see the baseline grid,... sometimes not. I need to restart designer in order to see them.

Hi Valdemarlamego,

There is a known issue that means you cannot modify Margins if you're working on a document with an Artboard. Do your documents contain artboards? When you say baseline grid, is that just on the macOS version? Baseline grids are not a Designer feature and should not be visible. could you attach a screenshot that shows your Designer window on macOS please?

Unfortunately valdemarlamego,

This is a known issue that is caused by having a Customised Toolbar when you upgraded from 1.6. You'll notice you are missing a few other groups of buttons such as Snapping, View Mode and Defaults. If you right click the toolbar and select Customise Toolbar. You can then drag the 'Default Set' on to the toolbar, this will bring the other missing button groups back, but will remove the Baseline Grid button (which was mistakenly made visible).

Hi Sean!

I think i didn't explain myself better,... sorry but my english is a foreign language to me.

I was not talking about the button,... i was talking about the actual baseline grid. Like the margins, sometimes i can't change the values, or the values are automatically reset to the previous stage,... and in other occasions, although i select "Use Baseline Grid" i can't see them.
