Jeroen
Attached is a screen shot of AP 1.7, with a picture loaded. It displays with horizontal stripes: I am not aware of having created these, nor do they show when I export the file to jpeg: I have not been able to reproduce the issue, but I have kept the history saved with the file. One unusual thing - for me - is that I applied tone mapping. The problem appeared after I cropped. Old Bruce
That looks like a redraw problem, next time you see it change the Zoom level to something else, up or down, and see if it persists. I believe it should disappear, and also that it shouldn't be there in the first place. Jeroen
I changed the zoom level up and down. The striping changes with it. Attached is a picture of zoom level 4. If I zoom further out, it does not look like pixels: So it is not in the image, which explains why it is not in the jpeg. It must be a sort of display issue, but one that scales with the zoom level. The lines are very neat. The thickness of the lines remains constant.
Staff Callum Posted June 13, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2019 Hi Jeroen, Please could you go to Affinity Photo > Preferences and under the Performance tab could you please try changing the Display dropdown to one of the other options to see if that solves your issue? Thanks Callum. Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
markw
I may be wrong but actually that looks to me like 'Show Baseline Grid' is turned ON. It’s a feature in Publisher which I think is not supposed to be user accessible in Photo. If you click on the icon with the blue lines in the Toolbar you should get a window where you can turn OFF 'Show Baseline Grid'. I now also understand why the lines appeared only after cropping. This has to do with the display threshold value for the baselines. Issue completely solved. Thanks.
