pb4072 Posted May 18, 2015 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Hello, I've got 8.5 x 11 pages, letter-sized pages. I've marked them up with all kinds of boxes and such. Now, some of these boxes go to the edge of the page, and, of course, if I print these pages, those boxes will be cut off. The typical "border" for a laser printer is 1/8-inch, or, 9 points. So, I'd like to make my pages bleed to accommodate these at-the-edge boxes. How can I do that with Affinity Designer? Thanks! Peter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

budaloco Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Maybe this can help. I added the bleed size (6mm / 3mm for each side) as a math operation inside "document setup options" to the page side. Then I went to "margins" and added 3 mm for every side. This creates a blue line that you can use as a reference while the affinity team updates the app, the trim lines will have to be created by the user of course. Hope this helps!
