Hello,

I've got 8.5 x 11 pages, letter-sized pages. I've marked them up with all kinds of boxes and such. Now, some of these boxes go to the edge of the page, and, of course, if I print these pages, those boxes will be cut off. The typical "border" for a laser printer is 1/8-inch, or, 9 points. So, I'd like to make my pages bleed to accommodate these at-the-edge boxes. How can I do that with Affinity Designer?

Thanks!

Peter

Maybe this can help. I added the bleed size (6mm / 3mm for each side) as a math operation inside "document setup options" to the page side. Then I went to "margins" and added 3 mm for every side. This creates a blue line that you can use as a reference while the affinity team updates the app, the trim lines will have to be created by the user of course.

Hope this helps!

Happy designing!

Well said budaloco; that's what I do, just make my page larger to compensate and add my crops to the top document layer...
