Develop from Develop persona to photo persona takes too long.

Recommended Posts

Hi, since doing your recent update on both the Beta version and Photo version of affinity I have noted that the time it takes to go from the Develop Persona to Photo Persona ranges from 9 to 15 seconds, it may not appear to be a long time but seems like ages and I have never encountered this time lapse prior to the updates. Any help would be appreciated.  I have attached screen shots of an example of the photo involved and My laptop operating system.

Many thanks

I guess the longer developing time is caused mainly by the new noise reduction. Uncheck the noise reduction in Develop Persona and try it again...

You nailed it.  After unchecking noise reduction it took about 4 seconds to develop.   Thank you

The new noise reduction algorithm gives much better results than the previous versions, but it will increase execution time.

Though on Mac I really appreciate the improvements in noise reduction!! Great job on that!!
