Background for portraits and family

Recommended Posts

A total newbie to Affinity Photo. I am looking for simple steps to create stunning background layers in Affinity photo for my kids pictures and family photo. Any pointers to how to create on Affinity photo will be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum Vishy,

What would you consider "Stunning" backgrounds to look like, any examples?

iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... XP-Pen Artist-22E, - iPad Pro 12.9

It may sound harsh but sometimes the best way to get stunning backgrounds for your kids is to take them to places where you can photograph them against those backgrounds. The small child here was traumatised for weeks but he had the best school holiday pictures when school started again.  Next year we will be lowering him into an active volcano.
