Windows: 'Open In Camera Raw'

Hey All:

In Photoshop Elements, there is an option to open any image in Camera Raw...is there anything like that in Affinity? I like it because gives the user an ability to effectively modify clarity, whites, blacks, shadows, etc., all in one place.

If not, is there something in Affinity that's better than 'Shadow/Highlights'?

Affinity Photo is not a DAM, it is photo editor. Opening in Camera RAW can be set in Windows Explorer (it is file browser).

Sorry, I have no idea what your reply means. What's a D...A...M?

Photoshop elements allows users to manipulate any image (jpeg/PSD/Tiff etc) in the RAW editor...does Affinity have anything like that? I want an editor, not just a viewer. Thanks.

Yes Affinity Photo can open RAW files, as well as JPEG, TIFF etc can be edited in Develop persona.
Download the 10-day trial and see if the program meets your needs.

But @imagegodwant open file in Camera RAW from Affinity Photo (like from Adobe Elements), not in Affinity Photo.

Then I would recommend you to buy the workbook from Affinity  or look at the tutorials by James Ritson.

As used here, "DAM" is a commonly used abbreviation for Digital Asset Manager, a generic term referring to software that facilitates the management of digital content (assets).
