dominik
Create a new document, add two text frames and link them via text flow. Insert 'Filler Text' to flow across both frames. Right click on the text to 'Expand Field'. Click into the text once to deselect everything. With the Text Tool still active press CTRL+A to select all text again. a) Click anywhere into the first text frame > the entire text gets deselected. b) Click into the second frame > nothing happens (except between in the blank space between paragraphs). Note: especially when clicking on the highlighted area of text within the second text frame - even when zoomed in very close - nothing happens. d. Staff Gabe Posted June 12, 2019 Staff Share Posted June 12, 2019 Hi @dominik, Deselect works depending on which text frame you've got selected. In your case, you're trying to deselect by clicking on a text frame that's not selected in the layers panel. I've moved this to feature requests as it's not a bug. Thanks, Gabe. With your explanation it makes sense and I don't know it it needs to be a feature request. Let's see if and what the developers make out of it d.
