Road map for affinity 1.8

Recommended Posts

There’s no public roadmap for individual point releases (1.7, 1.8, etc). There’s only this roadmap covering the entire 1.x development cycle.

Hi all!

I'm curious to see the Road Map for Designer 1.8, where can i found it?

My random guess is that they will update the 1.x Roadmap after the Publisher launch event.

Best regards!

Is "multiple pages" on the road map?

The roadmap isn't up to date anymore and as far as I know is not updated anymore either -- you'll just have to wait and see what new things are coming to 1.8.

The ,Pages' for example is included in Designer 1.7.3, just not the way people expected -- meaning you can open and flip through Publisher files and edit certain things, but there is no functionality to actually create pages and/or work with pages in a Designer file.

If this info is incorrect, please let me know and I'll delete the post -- it's just how I remember things and I'm off sick at the moment, so ...

The roadmap was removed from view several months ago. If you try to follow the link in my previous post to this thread you’ll find that it no longer works.

I am writing to you from the future. It's 2045, and Affinity Designer still doesn't have a Blend Tool. :78_robot:

I like your positive attitude and your helpful contributions so far.

Of the items on that list, several are now implemented in Designer: arrow heads and multiple fills/strokes per shape (no effects in the appearance panel yet).

Two more are in Publisher: pages and bullets/numbering.

Bullets/Numbering are also in Designer and Photo, though I am not sure if they have the full capabilities of Publisher.
