Bleed not visible in exported TIFF file while in PDF it is added

Recommended Posts

Hi cgartists,

Just tried a quick text using some shapes on a document with Bleed and they're being exported as expected. I presume it is going to be document specific. Would you be able to upload your source document to our internal Dropbox account using the link below, so we can take a better look please?

Thanks,

Hi @Sean P I have made further tests and sending you result there :)

  • First is when I opened the source from NAS, Saved as > on desktop and then generated tiff - WITH BLEED
  • Second is then I copied the source to desktop, opened it and generated tiff - WHITE BLEED

Interesting indeed!

Thank you very much for the file. It is being caused by the Artboard. If you select the Artboard and press delete you will get asked if you want to keep the objects. If you select Yes it will remove just the artboard allowing you to export to TIFF with bleed area. I'll get this passed on to development.
