Staff stokerg Posted June 11, 2019 Staff Posted June 11, 2019 Hi PATRICKSS, Very odd you don't get an error message when it fails to start. Can you try resettings Affinity Photo by following these steps: Hold down the Windows key and tap the letter R. This will bring up the run box. In here type: %appdata% Click okay A Windows explorer window will open showing you some folders. Open the folder called Affinity, followed by Photo. You should now see a folder called 1.0 . Please right click on this and rename it Old Settings. Now try starting Affinity and let me know if it launches. Quote
Peter Stevens Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Hi @PATRICKSS I had the same issue following the upgrade but managed to fix the problem. see I had to carry out an uninstall using the MS tool suggested, then delete the afftinity directory. When I reinstalled from scratch it worked. NOTE carry out a normal uninstall from the Control Panel followed by a re-install did not resolve the problem. It was only after uninstalling using the MS Tool that it worked again. Quote
