Black-square-artefacts-bug on zoom and export remains unfixed. Why?

Perhaps because you added it to an existing thread  about another issue from 2018 and the report seems to have been overlooked, sorry . Please provide a file to demonstrate the problem

Any news here? I now found that 1.7 AD suffers from this issue worse than before. Look guys, I'll happily buy another 3 pieces of your software if you fix these issues. But lately it happened when I was sitting down with a client and basically having to zoom in and out after any change I made to an adjustment layer, looking like a helpless fool.

This issue is serious and apparently it got more serious with 1.7 in both Designer and Photo.

My Specs:

  • Windows 10 Pro
  • RTX 2080
  • GTX 1080
  • Ryzen 7 1700
  • 32GB DDR4
  • Everything is up to date

I think the pixel layer is corrupt.

If I export just the pixel layer as a jpg (switch off all adjustment etc)

Then place that jpg just above the existing pixel layer then I can't get it to go wrong.

( Switch off or delete the original pixel layer, or else it does still go wrong at certain zoom levels)

Not sure what caused it to go wrong in the first place but if it does it again try to remember what you last did on the document if you can.

Normally I would recommend switching on "Save History with Document" to record future work on the document and to catch any errors that may occur but since your document is already the size of a small village's server  in Africa I would not do that in this case.

Anyway, try the above and see if it works for you

Hi,

The issue is being caused by NaN pixels which unfortunately we are unable to fix for this document. However if we can work out how to reproduce it, we can look at preventing it from happening again.

We suspect it was caused by a Blend Mode but we can't be sure. Do you have any idea what you may have done which triggered the fault? Did it happen when you clicked something or did you notice it when you loaded up the file again?

Same problem here. It seems to be related with zooming and brushes resizing.

The program start to show me artefact and also freezing to crash.

I'm on win 10 with 16gb ram.

As i got also a mac license I will try to reprodice on my mac, but untill now on mac no problem... And it's a 2010 imac...
