Can't see EPS linked image

"Not showing" in which way?
– No AfPub frame visible?
– No white content visible on white page background?
– No entry visible in Resource Manager?

I did a simple File> Place, then I did the image tool to place, then I did a image frame they all won't work. I think there's an issue with the EPS format not showing for some reason in 1.7. I created the image in 1.7 and exported it in EPS-for print, for export. They all wouldn't show.  Also opened the eps file in Photo to see if it would be visible and it was also blank (white image)

Ah, I thought the content of your EPS would be white only - but instead you expect NO white, correct?

I did a test with some EPS files, 3 generated in PSD, one in AfPub. They all appear to me as expected (the EPS contain a white circle or star only and are placed on blue rectangles in AfPub):

The .ai contains only a clipping path (around the circle), exported from PSD.
It does not show because AfPub seems not to ignore clipping paths in general to me, even if saved in PSD, TIFF, PNG, JPG.

If you like upload your .afpub or .eps, then I'll take a look what will happen here with them.

It seems there's a problem with your file.

If you don't need the EPS file for another application, you can import/place the APub file or export it as a PDF and test if you can place this one with no problem.
