Have 1.6.5.123 purchased from the Microsoft store. Am told launching it will start the update process. Sorry, doesn't happen. Update function when signed into the store also doesn't happen. Can any one help? (perhaps I'm jumping the gun here?)

Welcome to the forums :)

Open the Windows Store and click the three dots in the top right corner of the app and then go to Downloads and updates. Click Get Updates. The updates should then appear. I hope this helps!
