HPleskin Posted June 9, 2019 Share Posted June 9, 2019 When I try to import the RAW photo from my Photos on iPad Pro,I get the message “Failed to open file” and at the bottom it just say “The file type is not supported “ With previous version,I never ever experienced any kind of a problem with RAW files. spqr Posted July 27, 2019 Share Posted July 27, 2019 I have the same issue when attempting an import from Photos with the Olympus Pen E-PL9 RAW format. Just says it failed, shows a path to the temp file, and then says it's not supported. It's definitely supported by Apple, the files are viewable and editable inside the Photos app. I have the 3rd Gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro, 512GB of storage.
