I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is still causing you. The Crop code has been subject to various changes/improvements over the last few versions and it's still not working right. I will pass this to Andy and bump/update the report again.

This issue is now fixed in Affinity Photo Beta 1.8.0.168 GM (Mac) and in an upcoming Beta build on Windows.
